Cottonwood AZ (December 29, 2013) – Dust off your instrument and come join the Cottonwood Community Band, a forty-five-member concert band that rehearses Monday evenings beginning January 6 from 7-9 PM at the Cottonwood Middle School band room (Room 301). The band has several performances planned for spring 2014. All instrumentalists who read music, especially trumpeters, percussionists, trombonists, and clarinetists, are welcomed. There is no audition.

Located in downtown Camp Verde, The Horn Restaurant invites everyone to celebrate the New Year with musical guest Just4Mama and The Horn staff. Cornville AZ (December 22, 2013) – On December 21, 2013, at approximately 1:15 P.M., Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the 2800 block of Tissaw Road, Cornville, regarding a neighbor threatening to kill the reporting party and her husband. A deputy arrived within minutes and as he exited his vehicle, he heard gunfire. Dispatchers also notified the deputy that 2 adults (husband, age 60 and his wife, age 59) inside the home could see the suspect shooting through their back door. The presentation will be held in the Community Room of the Sedona Public Library at 3250 White Bear Road in West Sedona on Friday, December 27th from 3:30-4:30PM.
