Come and visit Delilah as well as all the other cats and dogs to adopt at the shelter seven days a week from 10 am to 4 pm. Don’t…

By Ted Grussing … closing out the week and looking forward to engaging in a conversation with those who show up at the theater Saturday afternoon. The thought of philosophy and photography is a relatively simple concept … the framework of life experiences and the search for meaning in it all. The viewpoint with which we approach everyday life, the choices we make and the context within which we make out choices … It is simple, it really is and each moment we get to choose how we see things and react to life’s experiences.

By Dr. Marta AdelsmanLife Coach in Communication and Consciousnesswww.DrMartaCoach.com(September 5, 2014) Like me, I’m sure you’ve faced situations where you felt anxious or nervous before going into a conversation.  You weren’t sure what to say, so you rehearsed a version of that conversation in your head.  Here’s a different way: Trust that everything you need to know and say in any given situation will be revealed to you in the moment you need it. You may have a rough idea of how you would like the conversation to go, yet you can’t really tell ahead of time what energy will show…

Sedona AZ (September 5, 2014) – Autumn Equinox is the time of the year between the light half of the year and the dark half. It is a time of balance, a time when day and night are equal in length, and a time of turning toward introspection as we contemplate the coming winter. It is also a time to express gratitude for all of the abundance and blessings that have come our way in the past year.

A number of volcanoes are visible throughout the photograph and the dark clouds of January trapped the light on the ground … Healing Earth by Anugama is playing and  creating the mood and providing the transport to drift through the air and escape the bounds of earth…

By Ted Grussing … woman in a beautiful costume, against a beautiful Sedona sunset with a beautiful image of a galaxy or a billion … I’m reworking a lot of images for use in the Philosophy/Photography salon that Andrea Houchard and I are doing at the Mary D. Fisher theater in West Sedona this Saturday at 1:30P. Sedona AZ (September 2, 2014) – It’s no surprise that landscapes have always been a favorite subject of Sedona artists.  For an artist who lives and works here, it’s impossible to resist being moved and inspired by the city’s magnificent surroundings. But there is infinite variety in the ways that different artists approach a landscape, and September’s featured artists at Pop Up Sedona Gallery provide a perfect illustration of that.  Painter Ellen Perantoni, one of the venue’s newest artists, embraces the rich colors and contrasts of the local scenes she interprets.  Photographer Jim Peterson, meanwhile, loves to create expansive works…

By Ted Grussing … soon, I hope. Early Sunday morning I took to the air in search of green meadows and blue lakes; SE of Flagstaff seemed like a good idea since that is where most of the lakes are and also more rain falls there than on the N side of Flagstaff as the moisture tends to come out of the atmosphere on the upslope of the mountains and plateau. Not sure what the narrow lake on the lower left of the image is, but you can see the earthen dam on the right end of the lake; the beautiful…
