SEDONA, Ariz. — TMS & Brain Health will soon offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatments to qualifying patients in the Verde Valley via a partnership with local treatment facility Tribe Wellness Group. TMS is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses — similar to those of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine — to awaken parts of the brain that are underactive in people who suffer from depression and other mental health disorders.
An FDA-approved treatment program, TMS has been clinically proven to improve symptoms of depression in four to six weeks. TMS & Brain Health’s partnership with Tribe Wellness Group will bring the first wave of TMS treatments to Sedona and the Verde Valley.

Traditionally, TMS sessions take upwards of 40 minutes per day for the duration of a four-to-six-week treatment program.
