Sedona AZ (December 9, 2012) – Early Friday morning (December 7) a blaze broke out at Verde Hay Market and Feed in Cottonwood. At 10:00 a.m. the flames were extinguished; the hay bales were still smoldering. No injuries were reported however some baby chicks and a parrot were lost. Firemen stated a number of other farm animals were saved. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

This is the 10th year that law enforcement agencies from the Verde Valley have joined together to provide a special holiday shopping experience for area children.
