Sedona AZ (December 29, 2016) – The Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting the next in its Living History speaker series on Wednesday January 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Museum when local photographer Ted Grussing will share a collection of his photography, what inspires him and stories about some of the more challenging places and images.Ted’s presentation will focus on his aerial work and reveal the incredible beauty of our area from another perspective along with a narrative with the images.  His work focuses on the transient beauty that surrounds each of us every day.

By Ted Grussing… was whipping through the area today and whilst the air was fresh, it was also very cool. Ted and I played a round on the ocean course in HMB today and considering that it was my first round of golf in three years, it was not too bad; I actually hit a number of very good shots, and also hit significantly more really not good shots. From Dec. 30 through Jan. 31 the city will be accepting Christmas trees for recycling.Please make note of the location change from previous years. This year the tree recycling location will be at the city of Sedona maintenance yard located at 2070 Contractors Road.

Sedona AZ (December 23, 2016) – In October 1978, a young man started his volunteer service as a firefighter at Sedona Fire District and that was Gary Johnson. As he aspired to further give to his community, he worked his way through the ranks of engineer, captain, and battalion chief, as well as achieving his Emergency Medical Technician certification.
