By Ted Grussing… make for some beautiful effects when shooting on the water, creating a serene and muted ambiance that it is not possible to get on those sunny days we are known for here in Arizona. Sedona AZ (November 14, 2018) – Do you have an interest in weaving, spinning, basket making, dyeing yarns or knitting? If so, come to Monday at the Museum at the Sedona Heritage Museum on Monday November 26th. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and join the members of the Verde Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild while they practice their art and share their love of fiber arts. By Ted Grussing… the music by Tony Anderson that I am playing and what this hen Gadwall has as she is dropping her gear (her feet) and swings them forward, spreading her feet out for a landing on the water … wee bit chilly now, but they are well insulated and able to deal with it. I took this shot down at the ponds on Sunday, after church and am getting back in the swing with waterfowl again. Winds have been kinda high the last couple of days and cool, so a good time to back off the aerial work.

Flagstaff AZ (November 13, 2018) – A Coconino County Superior Court Judge sentenced Carli Moncher, a former forensic interviewer, to four months in prison for embezzling money from her employer.Moncher was a forensic interviewer for Northern Arizona Healthcare between March 2014 and April 2017. During her employment, Moncher falsified timesheets, falsified forms to get reimbursement money for travel expenses, and created subpoenas purported to require her appearance to testify in court.  In two of the cases, Moncher falsely testified she was only receiving her “normal wage,” when in fact she was being paid an hourly rate by the prosecutor’s office.

Flagstaff AZ (November 13, 2018) – Coconino National Forest will begin selling a limited number of over-the-counter Christmas tree permits to the public beginning Nov. 16 that will be good for cutting in designated areas of the Flagstaff and Mogollon Rim ranger districts until Dec. 24.A total of 1,100 permits will be available at $15 each, which can be paid for by cash, credit card, or personal check at the locations listed below.
