By Ted Grussing… is the only way to describe what is a routine event in the life of a Great Blue Heron … I have 20 plus shots of the sequence where our friend went from regal upright figure, wading in the shallow water, to this strike where he explodes in an attack (successful) on a small fish that he spotted near him. Perhaps one of the really neat things in this shot is how he is using his wings to brake the movement forward and stabilize  himself from pitching forward as the attack is launched.

Sedona AZ (July 15, 2020) – It’s day 15 of Yavapai Silent Witness’ Catch 22 Program.  Today Yavapai County Law Enforcement is asking for your help in finding Jefferson E Perales.  On August 23, 2015, Perales arranged to meet with a female he believed to be 16 years old for sex in the Sedona area.  Perales met the subject at a Sedona Hotel and offered $80 for sexual intercourse.  He was subsequently arrested.
