… spent some time going through a shoot at Lake Pleasant on the 25th of May this year … found a lot of shots of great blue herons that I like and here are a couple of them. The direction and angle with which light hits the birds makes a huge difference in what color the bird appears to be and the saturation of the color. In the shot above the great blue heron is just lifting off from the water he had landed in, and we have the lighting coming from mostly a high angle and there is very…

By Amaya Gayle Gregory It’s quite funny, you know. Seeing what this is instantly awakens everyone, the everyone that is the dreaming, that is the illusion of choice and mistakes and possibilities of failure. Everything that came before is clearly seen to be the dreaming … everything, not just the stuff you don’t want or like, but everything … all the escape routes, the ideas of getting somewhere, the hopes for better. It is quite laughable really, laughable in a soft gentle couldn’t-be-otherwise oh-what-a-life-this-is way. There is no way out of the dream. It’s all dream or simulation or illusion…

… it’s here … for me, and like the wild donkey in the photo, I’m on the go! More busy days coming up and that is always welcome. I got this shot down at Lake Pleasant and love all of the wild donkeys down there. After a couple of hundred years, they are still considered an invasive species … seems to me they are entitled to be considered citizens after that long … perhaps it is because they are a different species than us? Anyhow, there are hundreds of them and I’m glad they are here. Got a link to…
