Workshops on Saturday, June 11 in Sedona
Sedona AZ (May 21, 2016) – Sedona homeowners will have the opportunity to learn about proper tree placement and care this summer, thanks to free workshops presented by the Arizona Community Tree Council and Arizona State Forestry.
The “Homeowners Tree & Firewise Workshop” on Saturday, June 11, is designed to educate Sedonans about tree selection and placement, tree care and watering techniques, pruning, and how to reduce risk of property damage due to wildfires.
With drought conditions causing an increase in wildland fire risks across Arizona and an increase in the wildland urban interface, it is imperative that community members know how to properly maintain surrounding landscapes to protect their homes.
Free trees will be given to the first 20 registrants for the program!
Registration information is at http://aztrees.org/Homeowners-Workshops.
