New podcast explores how to cultivate inner steadiness, self-trust and resilience when life doesn’t go according to plan
SEDONA, Ariz. — October 6, 2026 — Sedona-based author, meditation and mindfulness teacher, nervous system coach and kirtan artist Grier Cooper will launch her new podcast, Unshakeable Within, on Thursday, Oct. 8.
The podcast grew out of a question Cooper says has become increasingly central to both her work and her life:
How do we cultivate a deep inner steadiness that doesn’t depend on life going according to plan?
“Being unshakeable doesn’t mean nothing ever shakes us,” Cooper said. “Life will shake us. Relationships change. Plans fall apart. We lose people. We face uncertainty and unexpected transitions. To me, being unshakeable is about developing the inner strength, wisdom and self-trust to meet those moments—and knowing how to find our way back to ourselves when life knocks us off center.”
For years, Cooper’s work has focused on helping women understand anxiety and panic through the lens of the nervous system, mindfulness and embodied practices. Over time, she realized the conversation was larger than panic alone.
Unshakeable Within expands that conversation to include nervous-system regulation, self-trust, relationships, boundaries, mindfulness, meditation, resilience, spirituality and the life transitions that shape us.
Episodes will include both solo conversations with Cooper and interviews with experts in fields such as neuroscience, mental health, meditation and mindfulness.
Cooper brings an unusual combination of experience to the microphone. A former professional ballet dancer, published author and fourth-generation classically trained pianist, she has spent more than 25 years studying and teaching meditation and mindfulness. She is also a certified yoga teacher and trauma-informed nervous system coach whose work integrates contemporary understanding of the nervous system with contemplative and embodied practices.
“Most of my life, I’ve expressed myself through words on a page,” Cooper said. “I wanted to create a space for longer, richer conversations—the kinds of conversations that don’t always fit neatly into a book chapter or an Instagram post.”
Three episodes of Unshakeable Within will be released on launch day, Thursday, Oct. 8, with new episodes to follow.
The podcast will be available on major podcast platforms.
