logo_ycsoVerde Valley AZ (November 23, 2015) – On Tuesday, November 17, 2015, Mr. D.Brook Cunningham who is a member of the Sedona based Central Arizona Masonic Lodge No. 14, presented a $1000 check to Sheriff Mascher and Deputy Godina for the upcoming Shop-with-a-Cop program in Camp Verde. These funds will be used to support the purchase of gifts by specially selected children as they ‘Shop-with-a-Cop’ on December 12th.

These funds are especially appreciated as donations have been slow for this year’s program. There is no doubt that these monies will make for a very special day as the children shop with their law enforcement partner and buy gifts for themselves and family members. The Wal-Mart in Cottonwood will be the location of this wonderful event.

In this essay I would love to jump into the shoes of Curtis Sliwa, a former New York City vigilante who founded the Guardian Angels and is now running as a Republican for mayor of his city.
