    Sedona Recycles Hosts Sustainability Fair Fundraiser

    logo_sedonarecyclesSedona AZ (April 11, 2015) – Sedona Recycles is hosting a Sustainability Fair Fundraiser on April 19th. The event is from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Community Recycling Center on 2280 Shelby Drive in Sedona. Free admission, all donations and proceeds assist Sedona Recycles with operating costs.

     The event begins with coffee and Wildflower bagels in the lobby, followed by a screening of the documentary “Loved to Death” by the Oak Creek Watershed Council at 11:30. The Verde Valley School’s   Recycled Runway fashion show starts at 1:30, followed by glass bottle bowling at 2:15.

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Throughout the day Jim French will play his Eastern philosophy inspired classic rock. Gently used items will be available for purchase at the Reduce, Reuse, and Rummage sale. An earth friendly products and art market will also have variety of educational booths. As well as the focus on sustainability, there will be crafts and games for the kids. Raffle items include gift certificates from local businesses such as Jay’s Bird Barn and Chocola-Tree. Contact 928-204-1185 for more information or visit sedonarecycles.org.

     Sedona Recycles has been serving Sedona and the Verde Valley since 1989 with free recycling for the public and businesses and educational programs for all the schools in the area. Sedona Recycles is a nonprofit organization with an educational mission which is supported by your donations. Recycling is the easiest thing we can do to improve our community, conserve natural resources and create green jobs.
