Sedona, AZ — On Friday,  September 13, representatives from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) will explain how the Department implements the Safe Drinking Water Act. They will outline Arizona’s key water quality programs and highlight how each program addresses emerging contaminants with a particular focus on PFAS, the “forever chemicals.”

The speakers will also discuss the testing of domestic family wells and provide status updates on our local lakes, creeks, municipal wells, and the recent underground storage tank leaks, followed by audience Q & A. Please join us for this important presentation.

This will be a hybrid meeting: in person and on Zoom. To attend in-person, join us at the Granite Peak Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 882 Sunset Ave, Prescott AZ. The presentation will begin at 10 a.m. There will be coffee and snacks at 9:45 a.m. for informal conversations before the program. Individuals wishing to view the presentation via Zoom can register at the “Next Event” link at www.cwagaz.org. Questions/comments? Email us at info@cwagaz.org or call 928-445-4218.
