Sedona, AZ — Author and photographer Jeanne “Bean” Murdock, of BEANFIT Publishing, added energy healing to her storytelling identity. The body is a picture worth a thousand words, and Murdock helps people to become “a picture of health.” For ten years, she has provided energy work (Reiki & massage) for dogs. Now Murdock is offering Reiki to humans, also, in-home and remotely.
Murdock pairs intuition with 33 years of health and fitness expertise. She earned a physical education bachelor’s degree and completed a dietetics didactic program. Besides sixth sense, Murdock evaluates physical health and lifestyle habits by what the body displays. Looking in one’s eyes, she can even provide a term to describe one’s soul.
Due to Murdock’s vast knowledge and skillset, she walks into a home for one service and walks out having extracted a client from a crisis.
Murdock’s success stories include eliminating pain from many dogs, and buying her brother a few more weeks to live when he was dying from heart disease. She eliminated a woman’s reflux—and her son was a gastroenterologist!
Murdock will have a table at Sedona’s Sunset Soiree Saturday, August 23, 5 p.m. to midnight. Stop by for an energy boost, a book, and a photo. Meet her for a laugh. Bring your dog! Energy sessions are just $3 per minute. The soiree will include live music, spiritual readings, and vendors. 2160 Shelby Dr.

Residing in Sedona, Arizona, Murdock is a storyteller: energy healing, writing/performing comedy, and photography. Originally from Cupertino, California, she was given the nickname Bean in third grade by her next-door neighbor simply because it rhymed with Jeanne. Murdock studied physical education at Cal Poly, SLO, and then started BEANFIT Health and Fitness Services in 1992. Three years later, she was diagnosed with celiac disease, a condition that she included in her teachings. For 22 years Murdock was a health and fitness professional who happened to be a storyteller. Now, she is a storyteller who happens to be a health and fitness expert.
