Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
It is a true gift to live through such change. Many will not take the step, will remain stuck in victimhood and resistance for their entire lives.
Once the step is taken that is not the end of the road. The next step however, is not just impossibly long, but impossible. It is the step from tolerance to the obliteration of the automatic reaction, the pressing urge, the self-serving self-preserving need to object to life in any of its forms.
Impossible? Yes. That step is one we cannot take but is taken for us, as us, when we are sufficiently strengthened and tenderized by life. Even the illusion of choice, the idea of being the doer, flies out the window. The hard knocks, the heart breaks, the seemingly out of the blue for no reason at all obstacles, are the vessels of tenderization and have always been working for you, with you. Life has always been in your corner.
When you are damning the twists and turns of your life, it might be just a little bit gentler on your nervous system to remember life’s bumps and head-on crashes are how you are currently building resilience, how you’re strengthening the muscles of trust, how life is bringing you to that moment where resistance is seen to be futile and the fight ends.
Life is a gift. All of it.
Editor’s Note: There is no appropriate bio for Amaya Gayle. She doesn’t exist other than as an expression of Consciousness Itself. Talking about her in biographical terms is a disservice to the truth and to anyone who might be led to believe in such nonsense. None of us exist, not in the way we think. Ideas spring into words. Words flow onto paper and yet no one writes them. They simply appear fully formed. Looking at her you would swear this is a lie. She’s there after all, but honestly, she’s not. Bios normally wax on about accomplishments and beliefs, happenings in time and space. She has never accomplished anything, has no beliefs and like you was never born and will never die.
