By Ted Grussing
… a number of years ago, a friend gave Corky a beautiful bouquet of flowers … usually I shoot them within days of receiving them, but for whatever reason, I forgot to shoot this one until it was well into a state of decline. After I took the shots and looked at the results, I was more pleased with the image than had I taken them when it was fresh. Even though the flowers were well on the way out, there was something about the beauty they still retained and the smiling face on the vase. The message of course is that even as we or any of our family or friends are fortunate enough to be still be here beyond our working years, the wear and tear of life has left its marks on us, but there is still the inner beauty and a joy gained only from living so many years. So, this is one of my all time favorites and a gift that keeps giving every day … plus the memories and people that go along with the photo.

In addition to the book, I am also working on a line of about two dozen different greeting cards which I expect to have in stock by the first part of March … and as always, anytime you see a photo or image you like in one of these emails, it is available for purchase in sizes up to 24 x 36 and in some cases larger … some smaller.
Have a beautiful day and smile … we are here and breathing … life is good as are most people.
Cheers
Ted
Give me to gladly go
My way and say
No word of mine own woe;
But let me smile each day
