    Healing Paws

    By Ted Grussing

This has been an amazing day and although I didn’t get out and do all the things I had planned, I really got into the Muse tutorials and made numerous changes to my websites. When I first began using Muse there were no layers’ functions and everything was done on one flat layer, thus my websites were kind of awkward to work on, so I am in the process of converting them to multilayer documents and uploading changes as I make them.

Next is going to be an all new library of images formatted strictly for the websites and addition of buy now features on the commercial website. You can access the last two years or so of these missives now from either of my websites … so if you miss or delete a few you like you can access them now… www.tedgrussing.com and www.tedandcorky.com .

My diet remains on the dubious side … the add-on’s to the pizza tonight were healthy … spinach and artichoke hearts … sausage too J Finished Season 4 of House of Cards; much fun.

Need to get out today and get more bird food and other things plus up to the airport and start getting Mariah ready for a return to the air … updates to the flight computer, clean it up and wax it plus put new covers on the shade. Also installing a solar/battery powered system of flood lights in the shade.

Time for a wrap to the day and a beautiful day coming up … when you find yourself immersed in the days business, take a moment to take a look at yourself … you are breathing and you are here … what joy! Share it too.

    Ted

A bird flies through the sky, and I fly with it. I am each pearl of moisture sparkling in the sun.
I lie lazy on the clouds. And I acknowledge my kinship with each winged thing.

I see all as one, and nothing repels me, as this new day climbs noiselessly out of the valley of the night.

City Council Weighs ATV Ban Ordinance Proposal
    By Tommy Acosta
The Sedona City Council at its May 23, 2023 meeting took no action on a proposed ordinance that would ban all off-road vehicles from being driven on state-owned public roads or streets owned by the city. The ordinance, spearheaded by Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow on the premise that such vehicles pose a risk to the health, safety and welfare of the community, would impose heavy fines to anyone driving the ATVs or OHVs on city streets, including S.R. 179 and S.R. 89A. ATV rental companies have admitted that such vehicles are not intended or designed to be driven on paved roads, yet, in Arizona, they are allowed to do so under Arizona Revised Statute 28-1174 (4B). Opponents against the ordinance argued at the meeting that if adopted the ban would cripple the ATV rental industry in Sedona and cause much hardship to the owners and employees, as it would effectively, as written, destroy their livelihood.
