… each day the earth revolves on its axis presenting a daily treat of sunrise and sunset and time to appreciate the beauty of the natural world … and every once in a while there is a special display we get to enjoy and savor. I took this shot of the sun setting behind Kendrick Peak from the parking lot at Snow Bowl in June of 2013. Fun to go through folders and relive those moments … and merge them with the moments we are currently living … life is good.
A quiet day around here … final coat of spackle … texture … and getting stuff packaged and listed for sale on eBay. Every time I do the eBay thing I swear it will be the last time I do it, but it is kind of fun to sit back and see how many people look at and after a while begin to bid on stuff that you no longer want. Five items up and another ten or so to go … then I’ll swear I’ll never do it again, at least until the next time.
We’re into the weekend so enjoy the time off … have fun and enjoy the company of those you choose to spend your time with and be glad that they want to spend it with you too, and as you think about it, smile.
Cheers
Ted
…I yield myself to the thousand enchantments of sky and field and wood,
and play again like a child on the soft green of the earth.
And as the God of the universe has made thee to bloom in tenderness,
so also may my heart be made to bloom again.
