SEDONA, Ariz. – Beginning July 6, 2026, Julie Graham will serve as the city’s Communications and Public Affairs Manager.
With over 25 years of experience in public sector communications, Julie’s background includes managing a regional health district communications department and overseeing risk and outbreak communications projects for the World Health Organization. Throughout her career she has led numerous successful campaigns and projects, ranging from global mass event response planning to crisis management for pandemics and natural disasters. Most recently, she spent 15 years in strategic, media, legislative and stakeholder communications for the state of Washington.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications from Eastern Washington University.
“Julie’s extensive background in public health communications will seamlessly transfer to local government communications and I’m looking forward to working with her,” said City Manager Anette Spickard.
“I have a deep commitment to community outreach and involvement, and I can’t wait to build on the efforts already underway in Sedona,” said Graham.
