By Ted Grussing… usually I like to shoot Sunset Crater in the late afternoon because the rich reddish colors of the cone are striking and when shot from the west side the collapsed portion of the cones rim gives it the appearance of a heart shaped cone … in fact it is. Sedona AZ (September 18, 2017) – In May of 2017, personnel from Adult Protective Services (APS) contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report allegations of fraud and theft by 39-year-old Krista Cline from Sedona.Between January of 2016, and May of 2017, while acting as a Conservator/Guardian in a licensed Fiduciary capacity, Cline transferred more than $100,000 above and beyond her fees, services, and costs from the accounts of 2 victims for personal use. Only Cline had access to the victim’s accounts during that time frame.

Camp Verde AZ (September 16, 2017) – Using Arizona’s civil asset forfeiture laws, the Cottonwood Police Department and Yavapai County Attorney’s Office quickly seized $15,500 from a fraud scheme and returned it through court action to an elderly couple.The incident involves a Camp Verde elderly couple who was defrauded of $15,500 by a “computer company” that offered to provide lifetime maintenance of the couples’ home computers.  After making a “sale” of services to the victims, the company later contacted the victims and offered to wire a refund of $1,000 to the victims’ bank account.  Through an elaborate scam, the “company” was…
