I took this shot nine years ago on a flight to Page with a scenic shoot of Lake Powell as the objective. I think that I am looking pretty much SSE at Navajo Mountain which at 10,000’+ is the most prominent feature up there. Lake Powell is one of those totally unique and beautiful areas in this country and a great place to recreate.

Sedona AZ (December 12, 2017) – The 19th annual Winter Gifting Project by Crossing Worlds Hopi Projects welcomes cash donations and gifts in support of Hopi Indian families.  This Verde Valley non-profit, all-volunteer group provides support year round for Hopi families and Hopi service groups to help grow sustainability in their remote villages in northeastern Arizona.  Hopis are the descendants of the ancestral peoples of northern Arizona and still maintain ceremonial connection to many sites in our region.
