Cottonwood AZ (October 23, 2019) – A Yavapai County jury has found 41-year-old Krista Cline, a licensed fiduciary at the time of her crimes, guilty of Fraud Schemes and Theft, for stealing more than $95,000 from two of her clients, both disabled. Cottonwood AZ (October 22, 2019) – Verde Valley Fire District was recently awarded a grant from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) in the amount of $7,295 for a new air bag lift system. An air bag lift system is used in conjunction with cribbing, rescue jacks and other extrication equipment to extricate patients pinned under vehicles or other heavy objects.
Sedona AZ (October 22, 2019) – The Sedona Heritage Museum recently received a grant from the Arizona Historical Society (AHS) for the continuation of their effort to digitize Sedona Red Rock Newspapers from its first issue in 1963 to present.“Currently these newspapers exist on microfilm at the Sedona Public Library and are not easily search-able.”, said Sedona Historical Society President, Janeen Trevillyan. “This grant will digitize and add OCR, or word search capability to the electronic files, and the files will meet Library of Congress standards for digital preservation.”
