If so, come to Monday at the Museum at the Sedona Heritage Museum on Monday, February 24th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and join the members of the Verde Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild while they practice their art and share their love of fiber arts. Sedona AZ (February 11, 2020) – UPDATE – Wanted felon Krista Cline was taken into custody by Kaufman County Texas Sheriff’s Deputies in the late evening hours of February 9th,2020.  This arrest is the result of relentless tracking and searching by a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Detective who located Cline in Kaufman County and alerted the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.  This detective has tracked Cline’s movements as she fled across the US to escape her charges.

Sedona AZ (February 7, 2020) – Wednesday afternoon, February 5, Sedona Fire District was dispatched for an injured hiker near the top of the AB Young trail in Oak Creek Canyon.  After arriving on scene SFD rescuers located the injured hiker in extremely rugged terrain.  With the low temperatures and darkness approaching, the on scene commander requested a helicopter from DPS to assist with the rescue.DPS helicopter, Ranger 56, out of Flagstaff arrived on scene and coordinated with SFD crews on the ground.  Utilizing a Helicopter Rescue Technician (HRT) from Sedona Fire District, preparations were made to extract the patient using a short-haul…
