It is the story of me, my thoughts, my opinions, my perceptions, my experiences, etc.So the formula of awakening is very simple.

By Ted Grussing… and what a wonderful day it has been … I cut the opal specimen up this morning and instead of the three pieces I intended to get, I got about a dozen. Conk opal is made up of seams of opal in wood and although this opal/wood combination is millions of years old or perhaps because of it, it sometimes does not hold together all that well when it meets the diamond blade and water coolant. The good news is that the pieces that flaked off are are good size and very gemmy opal facing on the…

By Robert C. Porter(July 4, 2021)For the last couple of months, I have listened to an ever-increasing crescendo of concern about Jordan Lofts, so I thought I would weigh in with a common sense approach.I have been a Sedona resident for 23 years, and I love this town. By Tommy AcostaDog owners know just how upset your pet can get when the fireworks go off during 4th of July celebrations. They whine, tremble, hide and shake when the big booms go off. Because they have much better hearing than us, for them it’s like a bomb going off a few feet from them in comparison to how we hear and feel the explosions. For more than 20 years I was a Reflexologist practicing in New York and New Canna, Ct. I only practiced on people at that time and never considered applying the ancient healing technique to a pet.It was…

By Ted Grussing… this photo was taken at the beginning of runway 21 at the N end of the Sedona airport on a snowy day in January; the signage is just beyond the hold line before you enter the runway to begin your take off roll on 21 heading to the SW.
