Verde Valley AZ (January 7, 2013) – Judge Michael Bluff of the Yavapai County Superior Court has granted final relief in Yavapai County Attorney Sheila Polk’s lawsuit seeking to permanently ban all known retailers from selling synthetic drugs in Yavapai County. Late in the day on December 28, 2012, Judge Bluff signed a Permanent Injunction that declares the drugs, which go by the street names of “spice” and “bath salts,” to be a public nuisance. Sedona AZ (January 4, 2013) – In mid-January, the City’s Public Works Department will begin moving equipment and material to the new 0.8 acre City of Sedona Public Works Maintenance Facility at 2070 Contractors Road. Currently, the maintenance facility is located at Posse Grounds Park. Since fall of 2011, neighborhoods adjacent to the west side of the Park expressed concerns regarding the appearance and the noise associated with Public Works’ activities in that area of the Park.
