Sedona AZ (October 8, 2013) – On Sunday, November 17, 11:30AM to 5PM, Sedona and surrounding communities will celebrate the 7th Annual Mitzvah (Good Deed) Day. About 350 volunteers of all ages are needed for this interfaith, intergenerational spirit-led day of service announced Rabbi Alicia Magal and Barbara Litrell, co-chairs of the event which takes place under the auspices of the Sedona Community Center. The theme for this year’s Mitzvah Day is “Gratitude in Action” leading into the Thanksgiving and holiday season of caring.

Sedona AZ (October 3, 2013) – On October 1, 2013, at approximately 11:15 PM, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to investigate the report of a family fight in progress in the 100 block of Sugarloaf Street, Village of Oak Creek. Prior to arrival, deputies learned that 35-year-old Michael Tafoya left the scene in a dark green 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe after forcing his teenaged wife into the SUV. Clarkdale AZ (October 1, 2013) – The final jurying for the December 2013 Made In Clarkdale annual show will take place Saturday, October 5. Artists must live, work, or be taking art classes in Clarkdale to be eligible. Previously accepted artists do not have to re-jury if they still live or work in Clarkdale.
