It’s pretty much obvious to any astute political observer that the Harris/Trump debate was a draw.
Both delivered their lines with certainty, and both scored points, but at the end of the day, it’s not going to move Independents from one position to another.
But the most poignant point that might have moved the needle a bit away from Trump was when he claimed the illegal migrants allowed into the country by Biden and Harris were eating household pets. Dogs and cats to be specific.
So, they are killing and raping women and children and taking over entire communities with guns and all kinds of automatic weapons and now eating puppies and kittens? Talk about fear mongering.
Now we have to walk our pets, looking all around us for armed and hungry migrants waiting to barbecue them?
Of course not. It was a stupid thing to say. Fear mongering can only be taken so far before people simply stop believing you.
Another observation was that Trump never looked at Harris after the handshake, as if she did not exist.
Very few noticed this, even the talking heads.
She kept looking at him when making points or listening to points, but he only looked straight into the camera or at the moderators. Maybe once, glancing at her.
He did not want to acknowledge her existence. Either it was simply a psychological ploy to unnerve her, or he was afraid to look into her eyes because she was not afraid.
The haughty and arrogant looks Harris gave Trump at the start of the debate did not help her. It made her look petty and mean. She looked best when serious.
Nor did the pompous attitude adopted by the male moderator, whatever his name is, help either.
And it’s not fair that only Trump was fact-checked and not her. Such blatant favoritism sullied the veracity of the debate.
Harris fans will believe she won the debate, just as Trump fans will believe their candidate won. Trump peddled fear, and Harris foisted hope. Choose your poison.
There were no staggering or knockout punches thrown by either combatant. No one came away bloodied either.
The moderators did not have to use their mic kill switch. There were a few dustups between the opponents, but nothing to write home to momma about.
One could call the debate entertainment, but a nail-biter it was not.
The main takeaway from the evening’s debate is that Harris did not crumble or lose her cool throughout the contest. She stood up to Trump. She spoke with passion and certainty. She did not use a teleprompter. She exceeded expectations.

After watching the recent Trump/Harris Debate it became clear that nothing is sacred to the main media. They are part of a power machine that has the heart of an AI. Their goal is to take over the minds of Americans until they are duped into an inescapable trap of their Tyranny. Using clever AI tricks they are following this heartless plan.
It would have been incomprehensible years ago that the main media would be boasting that Harris baited Trump and therefore won the debate. The press isn’t claiming Harris won on her oratorial skills or her brilliant policies but by virtue of her expertise playing a bait-and-switch game.
Harris mocked the forum by purposely evading to answer any meaningful questions. Her Economic Policy was that she grew up in a middle-class family. Apparently, that gives her blind authority to know what is best for the middle class. I can’t wait until she taxes them to death to pay for her New American voters. Or when she takes away their air-conditioners, gas stoves, and cars. Better yet they should hold their breath because she can’t wait to tax you for just being.
Harris’ smug face said it all. Her debate performance pronounced her” actress of the year” as she delivered her rehearsed lines and improv faces perfectly as directed by Spielberg-Hollywood’s master of fantasy She was poised with confidence knowing she wasn’t going to be fact-checked by her ABC co-conspirators. Harris was free to tell debunked lies about Trump. She used the old courtroom trick, once it’s said to the jury, they can’t forget it. She was given the permission slip to avoid all policy questions.
Behind the scenes, the Democrat’s Dirty Tricks Department flooded Vance’s office with false claims that Haitians were eating pets in Springfield. Unfortunately, the Trump/Vance Campaign failed to fact-check that. Now they are the laughingstock of both the social and main media.
To put the icing on their frosted cake, the Dems had the Pied Piper swiftly lead the young and innocent into their dirty trap.
Hold onto your saddles because if Harris wins, we are all going down their Rabbit Hole, where only their elite count. There will be no middle class, no rights. The Almighty Government will become god and the rest of us are just dust in the wind, where freedom will not prevail.

Me thinks you have your Candidates mixed up! Trump is the only Candidate that believes in and gave major tax breaks to the wealthy and NONE to anyone else. He is also the only candidate who lives in his own high rise building with his name on it, has a gold plated toilet and furniture, private commercial airliner and helicopter, multiple grifting resorts and golf courses where he spends most everyday all day, is anti union and pro low wage pay without benefits. I don’t think someone writing an “opinion” is doing themselves any favors by claiming something is obvious.
Obvious is only in the mind of the reader, watcher, listener or observer.

Actually, I find the author’s political observations right on. For instance, he was the only one anywhere who noted Trump was avoiding making any eye contact with Harris during the debate. I also enjoy his satirical eloquence.

The southern border currently has less crossings. If the former president did not get his rank and file to kill the bill, crossings would have been controlled better sooner. And let’s not forget that the former president was going to make Mexico install and pay for THE WALL. One -Mexico did not pay for a wall. Two -the former president did not build it either (only some rebuilt sections and minimal additional sections). If THE WALL was actually built there would be significantly less crossings overall. Thus quit blaming Democrats for a ongoing issue he did not fully solve either.

Agreed with most everything you’ve stated except this part. Wall’s historically stop little if any of what they are intended to stop.
Also we have illegal migration, drugs, human smuggling coming in from our northern border, our seas and the air. A stupid wall that can be thwarted with an inexpensive saws all and cheap carbide blade sold most anywhere stops nothing!
