… I got this shot of a bald eagle this morning, part way up Oak Creek Canyon. He was perched in a tree looking for breakfast when I spotted him and even though I hid behind some cover, he spotted me and flew within seconds … I did get more than fifty shots in the few seconds he was with me before flying down canyon. Considering the lack of light early morning in the canyon, I’m pretty happy with the results. Coffee with friends and back home to process images and answer more emails and work on the boat.
Also heading down to Lake Pleasant, sans boat, to visit some friends who are camping down there and then home to close the week out doing? No idea, but I know I have a lot of unfinished jewelry projects I want to get back into. Neatest thing is I am back walking almost every day now.
I was shooting some portraiture of One this afternoon in the tall grass across the cart path. While we were doing the shoot, an adult bobcat came up out of the arroyo and stood a few feet behind her … I have a double portrait of the two of them before One noticed the other cat, now named Lo II. As she looked over her shoulder, she cut a trail back into the house and Lo II hogged the camera time for the next couple of minutes. May send that one out next week … actually a pretty cool image or ten.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and the plan is to be back Monday morning. Enjoy the warmth of a quiet smile … we are blessed!

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
