Sedona AZ (January 17, 2012) – The Sedona Heritage Museum has recently released a new video/DVD that invites the viewer to tour the colorful history of Greater Sedona.
Entitled “Oak Creek Legacy – The Story of Sedona”, it was written, produced and directed by volunteer Jim Eaton for the Sedona Heritage Museum. It runs about one hour and depicts the major facets of our unique community – the geology that formed our red rocks, the Native Americans, the pioneer times, lives of the cowboys, the orchard industry, the Golden Age of Sedona film-making, the visual and performing arts, and tourism.
The show was two years in the making, with help from area pioneers and numerous others. This copyrighted DVD has digital videography with hundreds of archival and new photos, and hundreds of video and film clips.
It also features the song “Sedona Serenade”, an audiovisual tribute to Sedona’s scenic wonders. “Sedona Serenade” was written by Frank Fara, produced and performed by Patty Parker.
This would be a great addition to your personal video library or for use by lodging guests.
The DVD is now for sale in the gift shop of the Sedona Heritage Museum, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. Proceeds help support the Museum’s educational and preservation programs.
