Sedona AZ (February 20, 2018) – The Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold its Seventh Annual Auction and Fundraiser on Sunday, March 4 from 5:30-8pm at the JCSVV, 100 Meadowlark Drive, Sedona, Arizona. The event is open to all, free of charge.
This year’s Motown themed event, “Mo’Money, Motown,” will feature complimentary food, wine, beer, Motown style entertainment, and fun! The event incudes a silent auction with something for everyone in every price range, and an exciting live auction with a lively bidding process.
According to event organizer Dreama Aldredge,“The annual auction is our main fundraising event. It is how we raise money for our ministerial duties, including combatting hunger and domestic violence, and our work on social justice issues.”
Thanks to donations from generous local businesses and individuals, auction items up l include a night’s lodging at Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek (formerly Garland’s Lodge), a horseback ride for two with Horsin’ Around, an excursion to Bearizona, a trip on the Grand Canyon Railway, a hot air balloon ride for two including a champagne picnic, breakfast for four at Briar Patch Inn, rides on the Sedona Trolley, a 7 night stay in a two bedroom condo in Belize and many more exciting items.
“Camaraderie always abounds and this year’s theme, “Mo’ Money Motown,” lets us know we’re in for another great event. It is a pleasure to support the Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship through this fun-filled evening,” said Chris Bein, past auction attendee.
The Sedona Unitarian Universalist Fellowship serves Sedona and the Verde Valley. Services are held Sundays at 10AM at the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley, located at 100 Meadowlark Drive in Sedona, Arizona.
