logo_jewishcommunitySedona AZ (January 15, 2018) – The Social Action Team of the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley will present a free HOT TOPIC program on Tuesday, Jan. 30, at noon, at the synagogue, located  at 100 Meadow Lark Drive, Sedona.   Join us for a video screening of an interview produced by the 92nd Street Y  of the Nobel prize-winning economist Paul Krugman as he discusses the ramifications of the new tax plan with MSNBC host Chris Hayes. What will it mean for us individually and as a nation?  What will the long term effects be?  This is a great opportunity to hear expert in-depth analysis of this urgent issue, among other concerns about the future of our economy.  Trent Cosse’, local tax accountant of Cosse’ and Wallace,  will answer general questions after the film, and will offer an update on developments regarding the tax bill since the interview which was filmed in December. You are invited to bring your own lunch.  Coffee and drinks will be provided.  RSVP 928-204-1286.
