City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (September 28, 2016) – Come enjoy fall in Sedona at the annual Pumpkin Splash on October 22, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., in which the Sedona Community Pool will be home to 300 pumpkins ready for the picking, right out of the water. There will be swimming, organized games on deck with prizes, pumpkin decorating, bobbing for apples, a scarecrow throw, treats for sale, goodie bags, and at the end, a pumpkin for everyone participating to take home. New this year, Trunk-Or-Treat, by SummitLIFE, will feature decorated car trunks outside the gates of the pool that kids can safely trick or treat from between 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This unique event is fun for all ages and is limited to the first 300 participants. Everyone entering the pool facility, adults and children alike, will be charged $5, which includes a pumpkin to take home. Note that all non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

“This is a fun, family event that is so popular, we usually sell out of tickets every year. Since we are limited to 300 people on the pool deck, we highly recommend pre-purchasing your tickets,” said Ali Baxter, recreation coordinator for the city of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department.
