logo_sedonacameraclubSedona AZ (January 6, 2016) – Scott Stulberg will take Sedona area photographers on a trip called “The Art of Travel Photography” at the 6 p.m. Monday, January 25th, meeting of the Sedona Camera Club at the United Methodist Church, 110 Indian Cliffs Rd., in Sedona.  The meeting will include two presentations by Stulberg and a club meeting.

photo_ScottStulberg“Being a successful travel photographer is much more than a point and shoot approach with planning, scouting and knowing your gear inside out a huge part of capturing compelling images,” Stulberg says. He will share his many insights into the world of travel photography, including many of his favorite locations and how to deal with logistics, models, weather, being at the right place at the right time, and much more.

Stulberg has traveled all over the world, shooting for more than 25 years professionally, and does photography workshops in many countries worldwide and across the United States. He loves to share his knowledge and tips with others.

“I’ve had many gifts in my life, but maybe the best one of all was the camera my father gave me when I was 10 years old. Albert Einstein said ‘Imagination is more important than knowledge,’ and with that camera, my photographs let my imagination come to life,” Stulberg said.  “A few years later, a whole new world opened up for me when my parents build a darkroom for me in our basement. Under the safelights, smelling chemicals and listening to music, I lost all track of time watching my images come to life. Although I’ve been using Photoshop for many years, it was the countless hours in the darkroom that made me fall in love with photography.”

Stulberg says his main focus is on travel and stock photography.  A resident of Sedona, he says photography is “about vision, ideas and the willingness to allow your vision to soar.”

Nik software from Google and Topaz plug-ins are some of the prizes in prizes for attendees.

The presentations, hosted by the Sedona Camera Club, are free. Local photographers are encouraged to join to support bringing high-quality speakers to promote interest in photography and develop photographic skills. Membership in the Sedona Camera Club is $25.  For more information on the Sedona Camera Club, go to www.sedonacameraclub.smugmug.com.

There is a movement happening in the A.I. universe that few are talking about but soon almost everyone that uses it, will. People are moving beyond using their A.I. as tools for research, writing, editing, etc. and are now beginning to use their A.I.s for other things, like advice, conversation and even counseling.
