For whatever reason, a dam was built near Page, Arizona and they named it the Glen Canyon Dam … it took years, but finally in 1966 it opened and formerly beautiful canyons were buried in water … there are benefits as well and either version is/was a work of beauty. Others can move the debate and I’ll just enjoy the beauty, capture it and share it. The mountain in the background upper right is Navajo Mountain and it is a little over ten thousand feet above sea level. Some haze from burns in the background, but otherwise a beautiful day.
Much work on the opal today and what is the current top will remain the top; the bottom of the stone while very nice will remain facing downwards.
Down to Phoenix for some business late morning and may then head over to Lake Pleasant and Turf Soaring for a visit.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
