Sedona, az —  The Rotary Club of Sedona Village is partnering with local Rotarian Paul Bowles of Arizona North Tree Service to provide critical yard cleanup and tree removal for a Village of Oak Creek veteran in need.

On Wednesday, April 8, beginning at approximately 11:00 a.m., a professional crew will remove a dead pine tree, perform additional yard cleanup, and create safe clearance around the home’s roof antenna. The project supports a veteran who is unable to maintain his property independently.

Wood material from this and other service jobs will be chipped and donated to the Rotary Club of Sedona Village Community Garden, helping prepare planting beds for the upcoming Community Garden Open House & Plant Sale on April 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

Rotary members will return on May 9 to complete additional cleanup at the veteran’s home, marking the third consecutive year of this service effort.

“This is what Rotary is all about—neighbors helping neighbors,” said Carol Hess, President of the Rotary Club of Sedona Village. “We’re proud to support our veterans while also strengthening community projects like our garden.”
