More Food, Local Beverages, People’s Choice Competition and Thousands of Dollars in Prizes Await Guests October 18
SEDONA, AZ — What started last year as a new Rotary community event is getting considerably bigger.
With less than a month to go, the Rotary Club of Sedona Village’s second annual Taste of Sedona Village has reached capacity for participating food businesses, with more than a dozen restaurants and food purveyors preparing to serve guests on Sunday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Collective Courtyard & Grotto in the Village of Oak Creek.
The growing lineup includes Doc’s BBQ & Whiskey, Juniper Bar & Grill, Willy’s Empanadas, Dellepiane, Miley’s Café, Tortas de Fuego, Clark’s Market, Gerardo’s Italian Kitchen, Flew the Coop Hot Chicken, Big Park Bakery, Firecreek Coffee, Rak N’ Sak, DA Vines, Carolina’s Chocolate and Bosa Donuts.
Again this year, guests won’t just sample the food—they’ll help choose their favorites. Participating restaurants will compete for People’s Choice honors, with guests voting for first-, second- and third-place favorites.
The beverage side of the Taste is expanding as well. Alcantara Vineyards, Verde Brewing Company, Bell Rock Brewing Company and Wild Tonic/Good Omen Bottling are among those confirmed to participate. Beer and wine tastings are included with admission for guests of legal drinking age.
Live music from guitarist Eric Miller will provide the backdrop throughout the afternoon.
There will be plenty happening beyond the food and beverages. Rotary has already collected more than 20 raffle prizes with an estimated combined value exceeding $4,000, ranging from golf and dining to recreation and a resort stay. This year will also feature a silent auction of several higher-value items.
“We wanted the second Taste of Sedona Village to build on what people enjoyed last year while giving them even more reasons to spend an afternoon with us,” said Jennifer Bowles, project coordinator. “The response from restaurants, businesses and sponsors has been wonderful. Now we want to fill The Collective with people ready to enjoy it.”
The event is also a fundraiser with a larger purpose. Proceeds support Rotary Club of Sedona Village service projects benefiting local youth, veterans and the community, including the Village Rotary Community Garden, as well as Rotary humanitarian programs beyond the Verde Valley.

Early-bird tickets are $35 through September 30. Beginning October 1, tickets increase to $45, and admission at the door will be $50, subject to availability.
