Sedona, AZ – September 2026 – The Humane Society of Sedona (HSS) will host a low-cost Community Pet Vaccine & Microchip Clinic on Saturday, September 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the shelter, located at 2115 Shelby Drive in Sedona.
The clinic is designed to make essential preventative care more accessible for limited-income families in the community. Services will be offered on a walk-in basis only, with space limited. There is a limit of four pets per family.
Keeping pets vaccinated and microchipped is an important part of protecting both individual animals and the larger community. Vaccines can prevent serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses, while a registered microchip can greatly improve the chances of a lost pet being reunited with its family.
At the Humane Society of Sedona, staff regularly see firsthand the challenges families face when a pet becomes lost without identification or contracts an illness that could have been prevented through routine vaccination. By offering these essential services at a reduced cost, HSS hopes to remove some of the financial barriers to preventative veterinary care and help more pets remain healthy, safe and with the families who love them.
Services Offered:
- Rabies Vaccine – $15
- Dog DA2PP Vaccine – $20
- Cat FVRCP Vaccine – $20
- Microchipping – $25
“Pets are family, and we know how difficult it can be when the cost of veterinary care puts even basic preventative services out of reach,” said Sarah Porter, Director of Operations. “This clinic is one way we can support the people and pets in our community and help families access the care their animals need.”
The clinic is intended for limited-income families, and availability is limited. No appointments will be scheduled; pets will be seen on a walk-in basis.
