Sedona News – The Sedona Sister Cities Association is excited to unveil the Arizona Ambassador Bear, a unique symbol of friendship and connection between cities across the globe.
Recently, eight members of the Sedona Sister Cities Association visited Jasło, Poland, exploring the potential for a new Sister City partnership. In preparation for this visit, Edyta Wieczorek, Chair of the Jasło Sister Cities Team, paved the way by coordinating meetings with Jasło’s Mayor Adam Kostrzab, the local Cultural Center, museums, and the Days of Wine Festival.
To foster goodwill and introduce Jasło officials to the charm of Arizona—and Sedona in particular—Edyta conceived the idea of the Ambassador Bear. This huggable teddy bear, adorned with the names of Arizona’s cities, places Sedona at its heart, making it a perfect “door opener” for international friendships.
The Arizona Ambassador Bear will make its debut at the Arizona Sister Cities Convention on November 15 & 16, hosted by Sedona Sister Cities. The bear represents not only the warmth of Arizona but also the shared spirit of cultural exchange that Sister Cities fosters.

This is so meaningful. I have been talking with David Gill for a long time about the Sister City concept. Everyone benefits with culture and better understanding of someone else’s world.
