    Toy Town in Tlaquepaque To Hold Toy Testing Event For Kids

    Sedona, AZ –Tlaquapaque’s Toy Town will host a Toy Tester Event on Saturday, October 12th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm in the Patio de Las Campanas courtyard. Admission is Free. Those who RSVP by phone, Facebook, or Instagram will receive a goodie bag with an official Toy Tester T-shirt. Children will have an opportunity to try 20 different toys, games, and activities. Parents will receive free complimentary seltzer or beer as a thank you for bringing them.

    Your little ones are sure to enjoy a Kids Pickle Ball Court or playing with Fatbrain Pretendables. The first 10 kids at the Pretendables station, will receive a free apron with milk-n-cookies and cinnamon play food.

    What can be more fun than testing toys!

    Some of the toys that will be tested include Fatbrain’s Air Toobz – rated toy of the year, Fizzrocket – an interactive science experiment, and craft sets like Craft Tasket & Butterfly String Art. The store will be sending a holiday catalog to residents in Sedona and the VOC, featuring most of the toys that are tested during the event.

    The Toy Town offers a huge selection of toys, fun children’s apparel and books, with options for every budget. Toys are meticulously selected to appeal to all age groups, and adults who are kids at heart. Outside, three play tables have been arranged to welcome children even before they step into the store.

    Take a look at their most popular toys like Shashibos in different shapes and colors, as well as their new interactive battle games. There’s all kinds of brain teaser toys to choose from, and steel Metal Earth models that require no glue. Mindscope’s Turbo Twisters allow kids to build magnetic railways embedded with neon tracks. Their remote control cars with black lights create glowing tracks in the dark.

    Prefer a nostalgic toy? You’ll also find Ty Beanies, Sock Monkeys, Giro Wheels, and plenty of plush Southwest animals.There are prank gifts and board games available for adults as well.

    Toy Town caters to both local customers and tourists. Their focus is on specialty, novelty, educational toys kids can experiment with, and safe play. Parents may have a sigh of relief if they neglected to pack items for their child’s entertainment. Toy Town can salvage the trip and your sanity. They also provide gift wrapping upon request, so you can go straight to that birthday party.

    Tlaquepaque Arts and Shopping Village provides a complete family experience. You may not have expected to find a toy store in this venue. But this surprise, is just one of the many treasures you’ll discover during a shopping adventure here.

    The Sedona City Council through a majority consensus voted 5–1 at its Wednesday, August 13, special meeting, to temporarily shelve a controversial auto license-reading surveillance program, with council members  Melissa Dunn, Kathy Kinsella  Brian Fultz,  Derek J. Pfaf and Pete Furman giving a thumbs down,  and Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow supporting the cameras.
