Sedona News – University Women of Sedona hosted four of their six scholarship recipients at a recent luncheon. They are (left to right) Christy Thompson, who is working on her bachelor’s in business management while working full-time for Yavapai County; Denise McClellan, pursuing her AA degree with a certificate in graphic design; April Beltran, enrolled in the nursing program at Yavapai College; and Stephanie Garcia, Hernández, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Behavior from NAU. Other awardees not present were Andrea Blake with a double major in both Astronomy and Physics at NAU, and Caysha Francis at Yavapai College earning her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
