    logo_heart2heartSedona AZ (January 31, 2013) – More than 100 women from different Verde Valley and Sedona churches are working together to provide a topnotch experience for the women attending the upcoming Heart2Heart Christian celebration being held February 9, 2013.

    The group is bringing in world-class speakers, musicians, and performers including:

    Keynote speaker Joann Wallace who is a best-selling author, media personality, internationally known speaker. Among her many accomplishments, Wallace is a member of the National Speakers Association where she received the prestigious designation of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), the Council of Peers Award of Excellence (CPAE), and was also inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame. In 1989 she was the recipient of the Award of Excellence from the International Image Industry. She has held the title of “Mrs. Oregon” and competed in the Mrs. America Pageant.

    Concert pianist Dr. Lily Chou graduated from the Juilliard School of Music with a MS, from USC with a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, and has performed throughout the U.S. and the world for more than 40 years. For instance, In China in 1984, her performance of Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4 with Beijing Broadcasting Symphony was televised live to a prospective audience of 300 million people. She also graduated from Duke Divinity School with a Master in Divinity and was the first female Chinese to be ordained by the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church and served many churches in North Carolina.

    Speaker Cheryl Sacks is also a best-selling author of several books and nationally recognized speaker, and has worked as a feature writer for the Associated Press. She was a high school teacher and administrator and is the co-founder of BridgeBuilders International Leadership, based in Phoenix for the last 30 years.

    Singer and songwriter Beth El received her degree in music with honors and went on to continue her studies in voice with the finest teachers from Julliard Conservatory of Music. She has led worship at many venues and taught and coached voice for more than fifteen years in Manhattan. Beth El won the Sedona Super Star competition two years ago.

    The program also includes flag dancing.

    The Heart to Heart conference has grown over the last fourteen years. This year the leadership team moved the venue to the Sedona Red Rock High School Performing Arts Center because they are preparing for 700 women to attend from all across Arizona.

    The continental breakfast and lunch are provided by local restaurants such as: Lisa Dahl of Cucina Rustica and Dahl & DiLuca Ristorante Italiano, Sound Bites Grill, The Mesa Grill, Szechuan Restaurant, El Rincon Restaurante Mexicano, and Nate’s Cowboy Café.

    Door prizes include facials, make over, gift certificates, jewelry, artwork (pottery, water color and painting), and a hot-air balloon ride.
