Sedona, AZ — The Arts Academy of Sedona (AAS) is delighted to announce the next installment of its beloved Friday Night at the Theater series, now taking place in its newly established performance home, The New Room at Sedona United Methodist Church (110 Indian Cliffs Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336). Presented on the third Friday of every month, this dynamic program continues to spotlight the richness and diversity of Sedona’s local arts scene.

On Friday, May 15, from 7:00–8:30 PM, AAS invites the community to a special cabaret-style evening in celebration of Mother’s Day and Graduation Season, a heartfelt tribute to growth, creativity, and the people who shape our lives. This lively and intimate showcase will feature an eclectic mix of music, dance, poetry, comedy, and dramatic performance, highlighting the extraordinary talents of local artists.

The evening’s lineup includes Sedona’s First Poet Laureate Gary Every, musical duo The Village Troubadours (Chantal Harte and Jashan Blackwell), vocalist Ivory LaNoue, improv artist Chris Redish of Zen Prov, and performers Sandi Schenholm, Terra Shelman, Steve Jenness, Bart Cookus, and Craig Schneider. The event will be warmly hosted by Camilla Ross of Emerson Theater Collaborative, whose engaging presence promises to weave the evening into a memorable experience.

Designed to foster connection and celebration, Friday Night at the Theater offers more than just a performance: it’s a gathering space for community, creativity, and shared joy. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and the welcoming atmosphere of AAS’s new venue.

Reservations are encouraged. Join them for an unforgettable night of verse, music, and connection.

Tickets are available for $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased online at: https://bit.ly/aas-friday-nights-26
