Prescott News – Members of the public are invited to attend Yavapai College’s Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) open house on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 220 Ruger Road in Prescott.

Meet YC’s expert faculty and explore the diverse programs offered at CTEC. Take a guided tour of the 112,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility. Get your questions answered by YC specialists and submit your free admission application on-site. Learn about scholarships, financial aid, and flexible payment options.

Academic programs at CTEC include 3D printing, automation, automotive technology, auto body and paint, aviation, CNC/machining, construction, diesel technology, drones, electrical instrumentation, engineering, gunsmithing, manufacturing, and welding.

Attendees will have a chance to win exciting prizes, including Amazon gift cards and more, and can enjoy a stunning car display from the YC/CTEC Auto Club. Refreshments will be available.

Registration is recommended but not required—those interested in attending may do so online at www.yc.edu/openhouse.

CTEC is where theory meets practice and allows students to refine their craft in a hands-on environment under the instruction of experts before entering the workforce. YC prides itself on preparing students for high-demand jobs that allow them to choose where they wish to live and work.

Yavapai College operates seven campuses and centers throughout Yavapai County and offers over 100 degrees and certificates, three baccalaureate degrees (with one more pending accreditation approval), student and community services, and cultural events and activities.
