    Transit Shelters Installed along SR 89A

    City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (March 8, 2014) – The City of Sedona has installed three of five transit shelters along SR 89A in West Sedona near the Mountain Shadows, Coffee Pot, and Stuz Bearcat intersections.  The shelters and associated concrete loading pads were completed in February 2014 using federal grant funding through ADOT.  Pima Paving, Inc., a Tucson construction firm, installed the shelters.

    20140308_cityTwo additional transit shelter installations are currently under design for locations just west of the Dry Creek Road intersection and just east of the Andante Road intersection.  Installation of these shelters is projected to be after July 2014.

    Yes, That Was Biden at the
    State of the Union Address

    It was about three minutes into President Biden’s speech in his State of the Union address when I found myself searching for clues as to the speaker’s real identity. “It just couldn’t be him,” I thought. An imposter had taken his place and was getting away with it!” Where was the stumbling, fumbling, bumbling President America has grown to love? What the heck was going on? His demeaner was confident. He was lucid. He did not lose himself somewhere in his mind between sentences. He hardly referred to his notes and went on delivering his message in an almost totally coherent way. He even went off script when Republican hecklers using their doth-the-lady-protest too-loud defense against him, protesting loudly after being accused by Biden that they were out to wipeout Medicare and Social Security.
