By Ted Grussing
… flying with purpose, but what it is, is a mystery to me as our Great Blue heron friend is locked into a flight plan that only he knows … no flight following or Mode B transponder for him. I like the simplicity of this shot … simply flight by a magnificent creature.

I finished writing all the copy for the book a little while ago and it is a great feeling. The next two days are finishing up the acknowledgements and a re-write of the preface and dedication … then off to my terrific editor friends for a review and suggestions and by April 15th it will be uploaded and initial proofs obtained. If that goes well, it will be published by the end of April and available on Amazon and other locations. I actually like it and that surprises me as I didn’t expect to like it. Perhaps others will like it too. It has been a lot of fun working on this book and more are in the planning stages.
Time to wrap the day … the weekend was devoted to work on the book so no exciting adventures to report and no new shots taken.
Have a beautiful day and smile.
Cheers
Ted
A bird flies through the sky, and I fly with it. I am each pearl of moisture sparkling in the sun.
I lie lazy on the clouds. And I acknowledge my kinship with each winged thing.
I see all as one, and nothing repels me, as this new day climbs noiselessly out of the valley of the night.
Peace lies over the world and over the world of my soul.
