… have been setting all kinds of records for cold and snow, the Southwest has been enjoying beautiful weather. I saw the first Iris blooming in mid-February and although this shot is from last year it looks like the ones that are blooming. This is kinda like an invitation to step inside for a look around the neighborhood … in fact most flowers are very inviting looking places and they welcome the visits by various birds and insects which just happen to stumble around enough to pollinate the flower and keep the natural cycle going assuring more flowers next year. Check out the flowers in your neighborhood and take a luck deep inside at this magical universe. Easy to find beauty if you look …
A simple day today, oiling the front door and some furniture, work on images, visits with friends some errands and more LED lights installed tonight. I was at the top of the eight foot ladder and dropped a 65W flood I had just taken out and watched as it sailed down to the floor … the sudden deceleration created quite a problem for the bulb as it exploded on a rug. It made a very soft pop, but the scattering of shards of glass would have made a hand grenade proud.
Time to put a wrap on the day … serving espresso in about four hours. Have a terrific day and share a smile or more

The growing grain and the placid sky have a kind of voice; and though you are
alone, the boundlessness of the universe is with you.
