… winter art on the plateau … take a landscape filled with volcanoes, add a good snow fall and contrasty light and you get instant modern or abstract art. I took this shot almost two years ago after a good snow up on the plateau east of Flagstaff. The snow fills pockets or grooves in the lava fields and the cinder cones themselves. My kind of shooting when I get the chance.

Into the weekend for me and hope that your days are filled with beauty and the love of the season.

Back Monday morning … start the day with a smile … you are here!

    Cheers

I journeyed from university to university, and I saw everywhere the past rebuilt before the eyes of young men and young women … Egypt, Greece, Rome; language, architecture, laws … saw the earth and sky explained, and the habits of body.

Everywhere chairs of this and that, largely endowed.

But nowhere saw I a chair of the human heart.

Pope Dies One Day After Vance Easter Visit — Hospitalized After Rebuking Trump
    Reuters

    By Tommy Acosta

What the hell is going on? Vice president Vance pays the Pope a visit on Easter Sunday and on Easter Monday the Pontiff drops dead? Not even in the craziest of movies could a coincidence like this happen. No one in the media seems to be concerned over the irony of this occurrence. Which puzzles me. It’s a curse I have that I see things obvious to me but hidden to most. Probably a residue of growing up in the 60s.
