… as the USFS continues their assault on humanity it is nice to remember what the place looks like when they are not burning. I took this shot last year from a point several miles E of Sunset Crater, looking to the W. There was a beautiful cloud layer topping out at about ten thousand feet and mid foreground you can see Sunset Crater partially engulfed in clouds. Mt Elden is on the left middle and then the San  Francisco Peaks and Kendrick Peak in the distance to the right of the peaks. The gray cinder area just above the clouds on the left side is where NASA tested lunar vehicles.

Busy day coming up and need to do a wrap. Have a beautiful day and if you’re in the area you may need to take some breathing precautions … winds remain from the NE through the morning hours, pumping all the smoke down our way and they are supposed to be igniting more fires tonight … this, knowing that the smoke will be coming down and blanketing inhabited areas. The smoke is highly toxic to humans and the infirm and little children will be breathing it … do not know of any other agency which can knowingly and intentionally harm people and get away with it. Restoring fire to the forests and all that stuff …

    Cheers

    Ted

May I not forget that poverty and riches are of the spirit.

be such as shall keep me friendly with myself.
