    … good deals abound in my store from now until the end of the year. Spend $20.00 to $49.00 and receive a ten percent discount at checkout. Spend $50.00 or more and receive a 25% discount at checkout. Everything is in stock and orders are processed within 48 hours. After putting your items in the cart, just click on “Checkout” and when you get to the payment option you can click on Mastercard, Visa, Amex or PayPal to complete your order. Also, if you are an Arizona resident, I collect sales tax, but only 6.35 % since I am not within the city limits. All orders have free shipping in addition to the discount …

    Calendars, Greeting cards and both of my books are available. https://store18482104.ecwid.com/ , this is a secure site. Hope you take the time to check it out and even better buy of few gifts of my work.

    I took this photo yesterday morning and it is a shot of the signature hole for Oak Creek Country Club. A beautiful par three that has absolutely distracting views. It was # 4 when we moved here, but they switched front and back nines a number of years ago and currently it is #13. Had planned on flying this weekend, but a number of jobs require attention so it will be another day or so before I can chase clouds again. I enjoy these projects too, so not a big deal.

    grussing_20191202_eventThis Friday the 6th of December I am giving two one hour long presentations at the Red Rock Ranger Station on SR 179 jus south of the Village. Seating is limited so please call them at the number below and make a reservation. One at 11AM and one at 1PMN. Presentation about 45 minutes and Q and A for 15 to 20 minutes.

    It is December! Have a beautiful day and welcome to the month of holidays and good cheer … family and friendship … love and celebration of religious and secular holidays. A time to recognize that we are okay and so are others … well mostly.

    Cheers

    I bring but this one common thought
    My life has wrought;
    That from the dregs of drear despair
    Still everywhere
    There is a joy I yet may sip tis comradeship
    With all mankind, the high and low
    I know.

    The Symbolism of Jan. 6

    By Tommy Acosta
    Don’t mess with symbols. Just ask author Dan Brown’s character Robert Landon. The worth of symbols cannot be measured. Symbols make the world-go-round. Symbols carry the weight of a thousand words and meanings. Symbols represent reality boiled down to the bone. Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
