By Ted Grussing
… I took this shot of a great blue heron a few days ago down at the ponds and he just absolutely stuck the landing … no hops or steps, he just dropped it in from about a foot and check that great braking power in his wings … sweet.
A long day and I’m giving a presentation to the Red Rock Ranger Station staff first thing in the morning so will call it a night. With some modification I’ll be giving the same presentation at the Red Rock Ranger Station on December 6th at 10:30AM and hope you will make plans to attend that one. Few things I do are more rewarding than being able to do a presentation of my work and give the back story on all the photographs. Sharing is one of the most important aspects of life … and few things we do in life are more rewarding.
I’m seriously behind in answering my emails and will try to catch up tomorrow afternoon.
Have a beautiful day and keep breathing … but not too deeply
Cheers
Ted
A bird flies through the sky, and I fly with it. I am each pearl of moisture sparkling in the sun.
I lie lazy on the clouds. And I acknowledge my kinship with each winged thing.
I see all as one, and nothing repels me, as this new day climbs noiselessly out of the valley of the night.
Peace lies over the world and over the world of my soul.
